Daily Routine Simplified

Here's our current daily routine

Photobucket

It looks great doesn't it? Very rich with tons of time devoted to different subjects. Well, those different subjects are not getting done and I've learned my lesson about trying to force something that isn't natural. I've changed it to be more natural.

Now we have a realistic daily routine on paper!

Flexibility is key.

The part I love is knowing that it takes 1.5 hours between get up and start. My wake up time to start is much shorter, but my nephew is running on the 1.5 hour schedule so I'm glad to see it might be normal.

Thanks for sharing this.

STOP CHANGING EVERYTHING! Ha ha. Just Kidding! :) Jessica, I am so bad. I am obsessed with schedules. I love to create all kinds of schedules and charts on my computer, and check out other people's schedules. I printed out your first daily grind b/c I liked the layout and your ideas (as usual) and I put it in my special resource stash of very cool schedules. Well, then I saw your updated one and read your post, and I had to smile. :) I love your honesty. I struggle with letting things go, admitting to myself that I can't do it all or in a certain way that I pressured myself to do. Having balance is so healthy and rewarding. Great job!

Chris you are so RIGHT, I thought it would be cute to say daily grind but it does portray a lack of joy..when in reality it is quite the opposite.

We are loving our studies so far and the only thing I think I may change is the order after Latin, there's a lot of writing to be done in the morning.

We're on a roll though so I won't change it just yet. You're such a dear, I love you too.

Dear Trivum Academy,
I looked at your schedule. Could you please tell me what Lunch With Composer is? We are currently studying composers (Beethoven, first) and I am anxious to hear this:)

Looks great! Life always gets in the way of my organization. I'm just wondering about poor Jack and his walk? That didn't make it to the new routine. :)
