3 Years in the Making

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Guess who has turned 3 years old! My little boy...

Moving the old car to get ready for the new...

John Deere Gator! Wow! (from the ever spoiling grands)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

First drive and crashes the Gator into the bushes!

Now what?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

"I like the horn."

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

No Sissy! Danny's pitching a little fit because he's scared of the Gator.

With time, he gets used to riding but still won't drive it himself.

We went to ToysRUs to pick up the other grands' birthday present, a scooter and
then headed to Chuckie Cheese for lunch and fun.

He doesn't like this at all...
After pizza and fun we headed to Chehaw Animal Park and rode the
train, one of Danny's favorite modes of transportation.

After the train ride, we walked around and visited all the animals that live at Chehaw.
I used this trip as a field trip for Camille's animal studies and we talked about what we
had learned as we observed each animal.

First the petting area...

Washing hands, what is it about water that makes it so much FUN?!
How wide is your wing spand?

The bears were the highlight of the visit! They played, rolled around and
climbed trees while we observed.

The suspension bridge to the Lemurs area, not one of my favorites!
I'm terrified of heights and the bridge sways as you walk.
Let's just say, Dh and the kids had fun at my expense...

Back at home, playing with his new scooter (in the house)- love the look on his face!

Happy Birthday Danny!... Your Danny sounds just like my Miles. Miles turned 3 on March 30th, and boy these boys are a handful sometimes. Not that they look ANYTHING alike, it cracked me up to see Danny wearing Miles favorite shirt.(no need to view it all just the first picture has the shirt) http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=1447723204d7ebb73031e8&skin_id=0&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url Miles is very jelous Danny was able to ride the "choo choo-Thomas"
Happy Birthday Danny.

I love the title of your post "3 Years in the Making". What a wonderful birthday celebration you had too. The pictures are fabulous!

I found your post and thought I’d reach out to say hello and ask if you’d like to receive a free Maya & Miguel DVD. If you’d like to receive the DVD just email me at Kerri at boldmouth.com with your address and I’ll have it shipped it out to you.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with Maya & Miguel, a show on PBS in the afternoons -- http://pbskidsgo.org/mayaandmiguel -- that emphasizes cultural diversity and language learning but I’m reaching out to talk to parents about the program as part of a marketing project I’m working on with Scholastic.

If you do choose to blog about Maya & Miguel show or episodes on the DVD, please make it clear how you received the information. Our goal is to be open and honest with everyone we reach.

Looks like it was a great day! My "baby" is 10 1/2 now, and he ws an ounce shy of 11 pounds! Yes, he's a handful, alright. But there's so much potential for godly manhood, I can only say it's my privilage to be his mom.

(Remind me tomorrow I wrote this.) ;-)

These pics were great! I especially love the one of the zebra! :) We are partial to those around here! The girls enjoyed looking at all the pictures. One asked, "Who are they Mommy?" I said they are children of a friend of mine. Hannah said, "Can we go play with them? They look really fun!" :) Glad you had a wonderful celebration! In Him, Eva
