We'll see how next week goes, right now Danny, Dh and I are sick. We're flu-zombies. Fun, fun, fun. Oooh, bad attitude. Okay, reality check- I'm grateful that the only sickness we have to deal with is the flu, sincerely. Here's our lessons for the next week, I've sat down with Tapestry and the rest of the lessons and planned it out. Last week, I didn't do thss and I sort of scrambled about with TOG. And the Art lessons on Tuesday are Units 4, 10, and 11- not 4 through 11. Geesh.
Our day is approximately 3-4 hours long to accomplish everything although the read alouds are either as the children want or at bedtime. Friday is about 1 hour of inside time. The reason Bible 18.4 and 18.5 is on Thursday is because I use our Bible curriculum for Youth at our church. So I'll use another lesson from Camille's week instead of repeating a lesson. Until Danny is feeling better, I'm not doing anything with him except read alouds.
I need an assistant right about now: someone to organize our books, file our papers away, collect the library books and take them back, put away laundry and re-sanitize our house while we lay around like zombies. Poor Camille, I really hope she doesn't get this although I don't see how she won't. Jack is pitiful too, no one is playing with him this week.
MONDAY UPDATE: Danny and I no longer have fevers and it seems we just have upper respiratory congestion now, we felt good today. Camille has not gotten sick (hallelujah!) and we finished our lessons by 12 noon, in time to get OUT of the HOUSE for the rest of the day. Okay, my Charlotte Mason Original Series has come in so I'm off here to go read...thank you all for your well wishes and prayers, they were felt!
