We will use History of Medicine, Eyewitness Medicine and Famous Experiments. I aligned Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia and How the Body Works because I wasn't sure which I'd use but clearly Eyewitness Medicine is perfect for Exploring the History of Medicine.

Thanks for some ideas here. I'm a frequent reader of your weekly reports, and I've really enjoyed seeing the projects from Easy Make & Learn Projects. We're doing some science changes, and I ordered the book yesterday to go along with our study of the human body. This is a most helpful and needed post as I'll be planning our studies next week. Your organization is such encouragement for me! I need things like this in our school to make our goals more visible and tangible. Glad that you are so well focused in science!
Very nice collection! Cell Wars has a lot of great vocabulary but it is challenging to follow. Then again, the Immune System is very complex and difficult to simplify, and Cell Wars is unusual in trying to present it for middle schoolers without oversimplifying it far too much the way most books at that level do. I applaud you for incorporating it into your germ study!
