I have always had that approach (from what I read) but am now decided to educate classically consciously. There is much more reading that we want to do, but because we are formally starting more than halfway through the school yaer, I think we will spend the summer catching up! I can't tell you how happy I was to find that there was a name for my type of homeschooling (my family who are all PS teachers thought I was crazy with all my focus on literacy et all and mathematics. "What about enrichement?" they would ask). Thank you for a comprehensive reading list and a wonderful blog to chronicle it. It is an ispiration to me and many others I am sure. I am printing off your reading list right now for some continued inspiration. May God continue to bless your home! The Grammar 1 reading list is what we will be reading-it's on the righthand column under Helpful Posts.

We read about 2 hours a day, spread throughout of course. :)

JessicaJessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11962142768868238733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35451298.post-88549951104606382022007-02-12T12:08:00.000-05:002007-02-12T12:08:00.000-05:00Hello Jessica!Have you read all those books? or i...Hello Jessica!
Have you read all those books? or is that a list you want to finish. I think that it is great! I have IE and I really do not remember seeing white boxes on your site. This new one is nice. It is a big change from your other one.
I saw the pics of your dogs. They are cute. I had two dogs. One was a german shep (we had to put him to sleep) and the other one is a 11 month old Golden Retriver. We are thnking of buying a female and breeding him. That is kind of scary.
Well I hope all is well with you. Take care!

Tina KayAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
